Recreation Area Information
Vernon Project provides numerous recreational amenities for the public to enjoy, including:
- Two picnic areas
- Trailered boat launch
- Portage
- Two Connecticut River Paddlers’ Trail campsites
- Fish ladder
- Recreation trails
- Hunting, fishing, and nature observation
Great River Hydro’s recreation facilities are open to the public on a day-use basis only, from one half-hour before sunrise to one half-hour after sunset. Please click here for a complete list of rules.
